I am also the Executive Director of the Carmel Outlands nonprofit working toward the restoration of the Flanders Mansion, a historic home in the center of Carmel-by-the-Sea’s nature preserve which has been unoccupied and locked up since 2004. The work to unlock the doors is ongoing.
